About Me
I consider myself a fairly multi-faceted person. I'm quiet. I don't believe in astrology although I am a typical gemini personality (except I'm not two faced). Sometimes what I think and feel are two entirely separate entities. I compartmentalize a lot of the different aspects of my life. I don't like to mix work with play, and vice versa. I'm a complex person that needs simple pleasures. I think about stuff a lot but I don't tend to overanalyze. I guess I'm just a typical young professional so I guess that makes me a yuppie; except I don't like lattes and I don't shop at ikea. My schedule is all messed up thanks to being a night shift person, so I'm as likely to be up at 4am as most people are up at noon.

I spend a lot of time thinking about things like ending world hunger, world peace, the solution to global warming, saving the whales, n shit like that.

I spend most of my time off doing things like; reading, writing, fixing things, cooking, yo mama jokes, paying bills, and anything else I can find that amuses me. Not very exciting stuff.

Books? There are the two types; Fiction and Nonfiction.

Fiction: I enjoy classics the most. Alice in Wonderland, Moby Dick, Robinson Caruso are my favorites. Reading Catcher in the Rye was a life changing event for me at the time. I never really got into Harry Potter...I tried to read the first book but I didn't really dig it. I also enjoy Stephen King a LOT except anything he wrote after about 1993 really sucked.

Nonfiction books are definitely my favorite type of books. I love reading about history, especially stuff about ancient cultures. As far as current events go, my RSS reader is my best friend. I like reading blogs and articles from digg. No Fox News for me though!! I also read a lot of articles from scientific and medical journals...sometimes it can be tedious but its always good to know what the latest experiments prove or disprove, and what the studies are saying.

Honestly I probably spend more time reading that than anything else.

I do like all kinds of movies. I like documentaries. If you've never seen Roger and Me, you need to see it. That movie brought tears to my eyes looking back on it....I grew up in Flint Michigan and was a kid when that movie was filmed. Really sums up my childhood and my memories of that shithole (Flint).

I also enjoy cheesy action movies from the 80s. Especially action movies with a lot of awesome one liners. e.g. Die Hard (Welcome to the party, pal!), Terminator 2 (Hasta La Vista, Baby), and all the others like robocop, stuff with Rutger Hauer, and Warlock 2. I could name a top ten list, but I'll just say a few; Friday, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Pulp Fiction, Full Metal Jacket, The Professional, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Goldfinger, idiocracy, team america (FUCK YOU HANS BRIX), and Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.

As far as music, I like Techno, Drum and Bass, House, Punk, Rock, and Blues. I'm really open to any type of music as long as its good (there are even a few polka tunes that I like).

And there is always food. I love burgers and fries - anything unhealthy really. However, I'm willing to try any type of food and give it a chance at least once. Southern chinese cuisine does not turn me on at all. Believe me, those people eat anything. There is a joke in China that the Southern Chinese eat everything in the sky except the airplane, and everything in the sea except a submarine. And its true. I'm sorry, I'm not down with eating a wok fried sea sponge.

Honestly, I don't really like fish in general. My main rule is that I won't eat anything that has tentacles or is slimy (except apple pies).
